Farewell to Pippo Baudo, Mara Venier: "I owe him everything."

"It was much more than just work. We worked together a lot, but Pippo was a friend and a true and important role model in my life." A tearful Mara Venier remembers Pippo Baudo during a Tg1 special on the presenter's passing. "So many years of discussions, advice, he was always there for me. We always loved each other, and this news is devastating; I wasn't expecting it," Venier says. "A huge part of my life is gone with him. I feel terrible tonight."
